Back to the studio!
Hello folks,
I have got peterdhicks' MK4's with his 91. The 91 shows up fine, as well as the Mk4's. But the DVT does not. It is missing 2 KUIDS and they are
<kuid2:146848:50002:1>

<kuid:45317:870100>
Can you tell me what they are. Last when I searched for them on the DLS it says: Note please enter in at least 3 characters when searching for KUIDS. Why?

I think kuid2:146848:50002:1 could be an engine file, as his kuids 50001:1 & 50003:1 both are (don't have 50002:1).

No idea on the other one.

kuid2:146848:50002:2 is "Class 89 engine file"
kuid:45317:870100 is "Class 87 Horn"
Both downloadable from DLS.

The kuid numbers are made up of the creators ID =45317 and the content number 870100.
The least amount of numbers you can put into a search is the Id number.
If you want to find specific content you need to have all versions ticked and put in the full kuid number .
For a none kuid 2 item this would be 45317:870100
and for kuid 2 you would have to put in kuid2:146848:50002:1
Both these are on the D/S the kuid 2 one is TRS2004 content while the
45317:870100 is UTC.
So you would need these two Trainz versions ticked and have kuid selected then input the kuid numbers into the top text box and click onto search

Another common mistake is including the < at the start and the > at the end.

To do a KUID search on the Download Station you must not include these symbols: < and >
