How to repaint with windows 7?

G'day!

Does anyone have any experiences with repainting with windows 7? ..
If not, does any one knows how to do it with 7?

You use the normal reskin tools such as GIMP, paint.net, Paintshop pro etc.

Nothing special.

Many many threads are on how to re-skin using Free Programs.

MS Paint
Free Irfanview
Paint.net
Gimp
... etc ... etc

Windows 7 re-skinning, is no different from Vista, or any other OS re-skinning.

Well..

Well, when i "Clone" any content, and then "Edit>Edit with Explorer" it just show up "Daniel-PC/My documents". No sign for trainz, auran, n3v or any tga/texture file...

Interesting on my system I get

F:\Program Files (x86)\Auran\TS2010\UserData\editing\gwr 1922 composite coach lot 1310 folder with the files in it.

Are you running in an admin account? Where is TS2010 on the hard drive?

Well, i got:

Computer>Local disk (C>Program Files>N3V Games>Trainz 2010 Engineers Edition>UserData>editing.

But when I Clone and click Edit in Explorer i need to find "Computer>Local disk (C>Program Files>N3V Games>Trainz 2010 Engineers Edition>UserData>editing" by my self. And when i look in the "editing folder" it is empty.

I downloaded the game via impulse if that affect ..

I suspect that Impulse and Steam put some constraints on the program but I'm not an expert in them.
