My japanese map (Open project)

matura

Never satisfied builder
:(I hope that Japan will soon recover from the devastating earthquake and again will be such as we know it.

I have about half a year doing this track. As you can see it is still not finished.
I'm just beginning.
The map is located in the present.
The map is composed of 12 squares. And still growing.

I have another map that I build. It follows from the city to the village.
I connect these two maps together. This creates a big map.
I'm still working on it, so I suppose that in one year will be completely finished map.

Hope you like these pictures. I will accept any comments or ideas.
Excuse my English. Translating in Google.

And now the screenshots. Original resolution is 1280x800

Excellent job, your attention to detail is very good. Keep up the great work.

Josh

Thanks.:)
It's still quite empty. Still missing textures, grass, some trees, signs, traffic lights, buildings and much more.

Therefore, I am now learning and work with Gmax. I would like to create several objects that are not yet for Trainz.

It looks really good. The detail does look really good.

I would really like to build a steam route for Japan has anyone got pointers for what kind of buildings I'm looking for and need?

yes very good don't worry about the foilage that will come

you do a very good job and patience is the guarantee (many times for a good result).
I see you use a background for the city downtown. Works well here. Like also the overhead concrete bridge for the HST.
My heart is with all the japanese and other people over there and on the high seas and islands nobody talks about suffering tremendously.
Life is unfair to the most extent.

Impressive!!!

If you're interested I did a Japanese station -- it's call Kato -- it's at the DLS!

Thank you all.

to ish6: Yes. I'll use your Kato station. It would be a shame not to use such a nice station. :)

Thank you all.

Thanks for the kind words -- actually, the idea for the station came from Claude, who visit Japan a while back and took some pictures, etc!

I attach more pictures of my progress on this map.
I deleted a lot of things, I changed many things but most things I added.

The industrial zone on the edge of town. It is necessary to finish a lot of things.

I remade the green station. I hope it is a change for the better.
trainz2011-03-2623-09-13-11.jpg

In the city I built a barricade around the track to reduce noise. But not everywhere.

At this place, there was a TWM station. This station was not very sophisticated and not too long so I deleted it. In its place I built residential area.

I like details, so then it might look something like this.

The view from pretty high. You can see the southern city and the Shinkansen station.

There will be very soon the main station. Many things had to be adjusted and it is still a lot left to edit. For example, the main station building.

Soon I will add traffic lights and signs, additional fencing and vegetation. Then comes the turn for me the hardest thing. Electrification of the tracks. And then texturing the map.
