Canadian Rocky Mountains 2011

@applegathc, not sure why you not finished your post showing the details what your "complained"(is there another word less harsh, more gentle for what i try to say) is about so i can tell my wife and in laws working in the paint shop to fix this:eek:
Any specific proto.... engine(s) you had in mind?
ALL the engines come from the DL station or around trainz so help me out what you mean.
Those in the picture above come from Ottertail and go westbound to Viktor lake near Revelstoke.
Anyway all the details added in reskins come from the heart which by all means is close to prototypical.
I would say if the reskins is the only problem you notice than my project is a success as making a route of this proportion and keeping it up to date is a tad more work and devotion needed than making a locomotive to perfection.

The route is amazing. I was not talking about your route, I was talking about your locos. I will be honest with you though, I'm not sure how these CP 70M's came to be, considering CP never owned any...although you're close to the 90MAC's that CP owns.

CP's main freight roster nowadays consist of AC4400CW's in the beaver scheme and ES44AC's in the block text scheme, with SD90's making rare appearances. Any SD70M on CP would have to come from a foriegn road such as Norfolk Southern, Union Pacific, or CSXT.

A very helpful site for roster information is here.

AC44's are in the 8500's, 8600's, 9500's, 9600's, 9700's, 9800's
ES44's are in the 8700's, 8800's, 8900's, 9350's
SD90's are in the 9100's

Seeing as I live right beside CPR's mainline, I couldn't help but make these posts.

@apple... what is your real name if not privacy wanted?
Your post is most apreciated do not get me wrong but if i make a comment to help asaying something than I try to make it helpful by giving some details but this post you give is most helpful.
Well since we in Thailand and are not real die hard railfanners with all knowledge all is done with the best intentions and what seemed available looking close to be useful not even thinking of those little details that makes the real experts or Canadian railfans fronse. Sorry for that tad of liberty we put in place.
On my route without even ever have being there we try to mimic as good as possible the look and feel of the region which with the DEM is prototypical to the quasi mtr.
The buildings of course are fiction most of the time although some are clos to the real thing.
I will for sure have a look at your information link and see what I(we) can come up with but at this moment we have a more than full plate on getting everything TANE ready and it look so sweeeeeeet really.

Just a little bit more patience and hads off to the brew crew in Brisbane with all said and a bag full of things to repair and iron out, it is a most beautiful piece of built to start a new era!!!

The new TANE version looks much better with the shadowing, and it looks so much like the real thing that it makes one want to head up to Revelstoke and book a tee time.

Tane version looks to be coming along very well. You do an amazing job of adding extra details to your routes.
