An idea: Calendar layout?

Am I the only one who has considered a layout based on scenes from railroad wall calendars such as those in the States from Orchard Supply Hardware or other such calendars with scenes painted by the likes of Howard Fogg?

Funny you should say that. I am about to start a winter route based on some scenes from Christmas cards.

Sawyer811 and I are working on a project based on the Titfield Thunderbolt movie. He is building the route from the movie, and I am building the carriages, bus ect.

BTW, are there any other movie/TV show routes on the DLS other than Thomas the Tank Engine and Buster Keaton's The General? (I have The General on DVD!)

last years was a spread of NG equipment, which got me really into 3ft for a while, haha.... I love these calenders though, part of the christmas tradition xD:hehe:
