Recommissioning - 2014

Gentlemen,

After a long consideration; and with the turns of a new job brings challenges, long nights and
travelling to new places. Due to some days having time available from work with my new rostering, new computers, I have decided to finish the work I have started from rollingstock to my routes. I was out of commission due to my old 6.5 year old ACER laptop failing; but thankfully everything was saved. Hope 2014 can be a prospers year as I am not out of commission yet.

I see you are beginning to follow some of my techniques there Michael. Great stuff, I hope to post some screenshots myself soon.
 
Line Maintainance - Southport To Ernest Junction

Hello Everyone,

Just an update of my recent workings around on the South Coast; I have been toying around with my new piece of content which happens to be a QR 3ft 6in Fairmont motored MT14 section car, with matching trolley which was used by officers to inspect the line in which sections required maintenance gangs to come down to work on, mainly with pick and shovel. Please enjoy;

Crossing High & Nind Street Level Crossing - This level crossing was formerly controlled by gated level crossings but was removed.

Just a quick update with a few improvements on the railway; new custom built level crossings and signage prototypical of the era. The section to Bethania South to Ormeau is coming to completion; here is a two test shots using Pev's RM 55, enjoy. :)

Beenleigh Turntable - Comparing

Hello Everyone,

Just been busy, but I have been potting along recreating Beenleigh as it was. I decided to make the blow down notice, to compare to a Weston Langford photograph taken in 1966 with PB15 745, but for the purposes of this; I have not included the locomotive to showcase the scenery. Please enjoy. :)

Light Engine Movements - 4KQ Picnic

Hello Everyone,

Just a few updates to the route; so I decided to recreated a light engine movement with PB15 572 which was involved in the 1954 4KQ Railway Picnic which was held on the following day: November 22nd.

Coming off shed & onto the platform road at Beenleigh.
