Thank you! Just take it slowly when you start. Try out patching locomotives, adding lettering or blanking assets. I can't even remember how to blank assets so I have to watch a tutorial every time I try it. :hehe:

SSW SD40T-2 with the lettering layered over the SP, complete with realistic ARN, hornsound and enginesound. Almost like the SP switched it to the SSW but didn't bother with the lettering, typical for money-losing railroads.

The only freeware FEC diesel that's yellow and blue is JR's SD70M-2. The SD40-2 is in their Champion paint scheme.

The Bilevels are just renamed Sounder cars but I wanted the F40 to look a bit "old paint" or "retro" so I just had the colours match and not any particular pattern.

Ready....Set........GO?!

Both an F40PH-2D and an EPA-42a await their runs back to Mimico......

I figure with VIA getting ready to upgrade, why not throw a little fictional paint on a '42?

Those reskins are really good HoggerDrew! That fictional CoastLiner F40PH is closer to Amtrak Phase V colors like if Amtrak would've got some of them fixed up at the same shop as Via Rail's.

Thanks! Just kinda starting out with them.

Funny, that’s what I used as a base was a NPCU, I have a photo of the rebuilt F40 in Phase Vb or VI whatever the latest paint is for NPCUs lol. I kinda wish Amtrak had followed VIA’s lead and just rebuilt the 40’s, VIA’s are now set for another 25 years or so
