Spoke with an engineer at VIA the other day. He said they have about 20/25 in them.

VIA may retire the oldest ones in the coming years but I can’t see them all going that quick

Yessir! Got them all! Most of the coaches and consists seem to be 3.7 and older though. Although for that there is some very good stuff there!
 
Well now! I have seven consists by escd84, manweb, dragonharh, and gilles81. I even have the loco and one car of the Turbo trains (VIA, CN, and AMTRAK). They all look great, but none newer than 4.0. But I have not seen the consist with the yellow stripe in your middle shot, PerRock! Is that DLS? That looks like the modern version I am looking for, chronologically as well as maybe version!

Honestly I wish VIA had kept one or two F40’s in the Canada scheme after rebuilding. Would’ve saved them money too, because they’ve had to repaint the cars to match the engines lol.

As for the P42’s, I’m not sure what would look better; this or the LRC paint job
