    How did you get those old cnr flats to work? Mine give me a bunch of texture faults. Love the containers.

    @applegathc

    I don't have an immediate answer, but I do see what you mean with the texture faults since it is so old. Thanks for your comment on the containers, they came out great. I'm currently searching for photos of old 40' CP Ships examples.

    More than just a prototype: https://www.reddit.com/r/ViaRail/com..._complete_and/

    We don't have any Venture cars made for Trainz yet, so I had to use Viaggio cars... but they're extremely similar.

    I've been seeing what I can do with some of Whitepass's newer assets, to good result:

    Hand weathering makes me miss Substance, but I am pleased by the results.

    Substance Painter is a texture painting program. If the FBX is included with a model, or if you have the source file, you can use the model geometry and AO map to generate a lot of weathering procedurally. Particularly on the LO 2893s, I had to check what direction was up on a lot of parts with very little indication of up. Using something like SP (or alternatives, like Quixel Mixer) you can just plug in a position gradient, a couple procedurally generated overlays to make it messier, and adjust it to fit.
