This section of the North Coast line should be available on the DLS ‘soon’. Ive decided to complete the railway right through to the QLD border as its only about another 40K. Watch this space in early 2011.

Ive decided to duplicate the line now to cater for future expansion of rail traffic due to the increasing cost of road transport.

There is a set of instructions contained in the Information page which describes the merge positioning of this route into the previous Casino to Lismore route.
Once again, thanks to all content creators, TransDEM, Google Earth & Streetview and NSWrail.net

Good luck and enjoy.

I look forward to adding it to Casino.

Maybe some one from this end will do from the Acacia Ridge Yard to link at the Border,no I'm not seriously contemplating doing it though.

Norm.

Oh God,
Peter, please stop, all your routes (Changed to hi-detail tracks) are exploding my computer:hehe:
No seriously, thank you for all the routes you've created since you started. Any chance any Victoria will be added, all from NSW??

Ok, Pete, it's official.

You are a god among NSW Trainz users.

Thank you for yet another quality offering.

Matt.

Thanks Pete for the Kyogle section :) :)

I have been running trains on this Kyogle route for a few weeks now and all is well :D :D

Just in case someone wants to update the route to include a planned intermodal terminal just north of Casino, I offer the following;

There are plans for a $M10 freight terminal at Casino that could cater for
any regional freight.

A fleet of swing lift container trucks will gather/distribute loads for the
regional industries. Stock feed was one load mentioned in one earlier
version of that article.

Another source of freight is the Casino Fast Freeze International (FFI)
facility that uses FFI's cream technology for the manufacture of frozen
cream and cream cheeses.
