Thought I'd show some shot of my latest route.

It's a DEM based route of the former Midland Railway between Peak Forest and Chinley. Part 1 covers Disley Tunnel to Cowburn Tunnel and Dove Holes Tunnel, including Chinley and Gowhole Yard. Anyway onto the shots:

Trans pennine dmu's, the dreaded metro-vicks, blue pullmans, Suburban coaches and whiff of steam, those were the days. Routes looking good too!!:hehe:

Shame all we have got left is the walk from Millers Dale to Monsal Head, still, they do a good pint at the Hotel

Sorry for being like the "CAN WE HAVE IT NOW?" But can we have it yet? :p as it is not looking half bad there :udrool::D

Thanks for the comments......

Here are a few more - the yard is Gowhole where the fast and slow lines separate for a while.

Thanks - it's a great bit of railway to work on.

Yes I am planning to release it to the DLS, it'll be for TS2009 with TC3 added in. I'm doing it in smaller sections so that I actually get it finished. It's taken a month so far on and off....

You should try and post some of them screenshots in the Railworks forum, just to show them what they are really missing out on, brilliant work on that route, it looks amazing, it's looks like all shots were taken in Trainz Classics UK, am I right?

It's great being on this side of the tracks, you see more trainz...

Thanks for comments chaps.

Joe, I'm using TS2009 SP1 with the TC3 assets added in. It's a combination that seems to work well on my ageing hardware, though I'm beginning to get the urge to upgrade.....

The route is T shaped and runs between Disley Tunnel/New Mills in the west, to Cowburn Tunnel in the east, and Dove Holes Tunnel in the south. I have more scenics to do at the western end, then I will release as Part 1.

Part 2 will be south into the White Peak from Dove Holes to Peak Forest and then down to Millers Dale. The route is set in the 1950-1960s period, although the route is all there still, but with much less track.
