New Aircraft

Hi Guys,

As you see I have been updating a number of older models, these use pilots from my library files. This allows Pascal to change the pilots when he does a different airline reskin. Recently I uploaded some new models, the Bombardier Global 7500, the Piaggio P-180 and the Lockheed S-3 Viking, a carrier based aircraft. Pascal has done a reskin of the Paggio.

We do not have any World War 1 aircraft, so I am doing some of those, a few are already on the DLS, but I need to do a few tweaks to those, a couple more are in the workshop. Perhaps these will lead to some routes based on an older era during World War 1.

Hello,

Thank you, Ian, for all these new birds. They will need, of course, a specific map to let them fly!

Two reskins so far:

This one flown by Lt Norman Mc Gregor, Royal Naval Air Services, UK 1917

Hate to say with such nice work which is really appreciated, but unless there was some oddity in WW! the tail stripes are back to front. It is always red white and blue. So red should be first. (?)

No, during WW1, blue first for UK and France, red first for USA.

After WW1, UK changed for red first.

My father had a collection of boys books from the 1910's-1920s that featured flying circuses and airplanes in general. I read them all and later made a study of air circuses of the US and the role they played in early Hollywood. :D

Hi guys,

A few more to add to the collection, two available:

The Royal Aircraft Factory BE2c :

The Armstrong Whitworth FK8:

Still working on a couple but nearly ready to send to Pascal for review.

Gordon, looks like a good air program for the display, hope it is able to go ahead.

Hi pascal you are doing great work. How do you intend to deliver them? as the world is shutting down. Wonder how many of the worlds airlines will still be around after this virus.

Thanks.
Lufthansa is a strong airline. They should survive. But yes, many other airlines will collapse..

Hi,

Now WW2 period..

The Fairey Swordfish, British land or carrier aircraft.
Ian made 2 versions of this biplane. The carrier version can deploy a tail hook for landing and wings can be folded for easier storage. Operation by the Aircraft Action Trigger.
Ian's model (already available):
