I noticed too that the railroads are hiring people again. This is a good sign that things are picking up.

Railroads are hurting for people in the areas of signal and MOW, and seem to have alot of the crews furloged. I know the railroad I work for has been setting record profits most of this year. It's like the 1950s all over....

Thanks for sharing the Good News.

It is very good to see the freight picking up again, perhaps the entire economy will follow.
I thought that freight seemed promising when Buffet bought BNSF a few weeks ago.
I think the market is going up, hopefully it will continue going up.

agreed & It should have stayed up in the first place and it is no wonder why we have so many semi trucks clogging our highway system up and polluting our air when railroads can haul the goods faster and bring in more profit!
