Winrar and IZArc are both free programs. WinRar just pops up a pesky window suggesting that you should purchase the program after the 30 day trial is up. The program continues to work for years simply by closing the message and that only takes one mouse click. I personally use WinRar because I had trouble with IZArc in the old days. That problem would have fixed by now. Just download and install either program. reboot your computer to allow the file associations to sort themselves out. Any time you have a RAR, ZIP or similar file to decompress, simply click the file name or icon and either program will start up automatically. It takes about ten seconds to learn how to use either one. Please install one or the other, not both!
