JointedRail stuff [screenshots/renders]

Long Island RF-62's train has been built and is ready to roll east following the procession of westbound passenger trains to Jamaica, Hunterspoint Ave., and Long Island City. Air tested and ready to roll, they leave their train for a moment to grab breakfast at Pineaire, their home terminal.

After shoving westward out of the Pineaire DEF to spot one car at Southern Container in Deer Park, the crew eases into the long siding at SG and waits until a westbound KO train passes. Here they are ready to proceed east.

A few moments later, the block operator at SG Cabin has the iron lined for the siding, and MP15AC 154/C420 227 give the 29 car long consist a tug. Today, this train will make the trek to Riverhead/LD and pick up MTYs they dropped off yesterday and the day prior - these will ultimately end up on tonight's RF-91, the power of which is shared with this job.

KEEP'em coming Knifeswitch!

I can not tell you how many times I've fanned/been through these places irl. This is a truly superb route.

Watching your pictures on a large, first generation iPad Pro, I have the impression, that some of your pictures are real ones. :)

Like those colors in your photos a lot, I have a 2nd Gen Ipad, and it's too old for Trainz, but my spouse likes playing her Games on it, so will keep it till it passes on to computer heaven...

Thanks for sharing some great photos........... And I agree I think they look very Real too!

Train 550 for Oyster Bay snakes through Long Island City yard on a fairly clear [for summer!] 1983 Friday afternoon, with the 163 still rocking its original factory number boards and P5A tooter. This eastbound will begin the parade of evening rush trains, evidenced by the Montauk train hot on the heels of 550, ready to bring the New Yorkers of Manhattan out to the Hamptons for the weekend.

Great Shot Knifeswitch. You did fantastic job on that yard area. Love the little bits of detail like those rusty barrels etc.
