Japan

@motorbreath-san
Thanks. Would you like Japanese steam? They are 42inch guage but very powerfull and beautiful, I think.

@magickmaker-san
Ah, Aso Boy is retired in 2005. She is class 8620, but a little bit modified to American style.

@SodorProductions-san
Yes, the deflector and some parts of wartime degoichi are made of wood for lack of the metal resource.

Keimei-san these look amazing! Any chance you would email me the locos if you can't get them on the DLS? I am making some buildings for a layout based on Taihoku (Taipei) in the 1930s, so these Japanese locomotives would be a great help.

Hayabusa

Hey Japan Trainzers! Anyone thought about making the Hayabusa Shinkansen yet? The pervious shinkansens on train are amazing!
Cheers

GTFO from here! lol jk, but seriously, there are better trains to create rather than that modern HST. Anyways I prefer the Kodama 0 series. :p

Um...is GTFO against the forum rules when someone asks a simple (innocent) question?

certainly! I'd take the kodama, but wouldn't that still count as modern hst? Clearly older Japanese rail is a favorite here, which I repsect (and download constantly as it comes out), but I thought maybe, SOMEONE is thinking of a modern Japanese Trainz project? (Be a train, a route or a shinkansen station?)

The Shonan Densha (1)

Because these are old fashioned electric train (EMU), you might not like them.
But I like them.
These are JNR 80-series electric train for express on the TOUKAIDO main line.
They were called Shonan Densha.
They run from 1949.
They consisted of 15 cars or less.

The 1st type of the Kuha 86 is a control car for the 3rd class.

The 2nd type of Kuha86 is called "Shonan type".
Shonan is the west area of Tokyo.

Saha 87 type is an accompanying car for the 3rd class.

Hanshin9501:
Wonderful shots - thanks for sharing.
In the third shot you show a station with a covered footbridge.
Could you please advise if that is available anywhere as a scenery item.
There seems to be very few of these covered walkways available.
Thank you

Well, I believe no one is posting due to the incidence that occured in Japan like now, 2 months. I assume everyone is busy over there right now.

I think I said it before, my support to the japanese people.

I understand about the situation in Japan and am still upset by it.

All I was trying to do was keep this thread from going unused for an extended period of time. Also I figure that there might be posts from people in other countries who like Japan and Japanese railways.

I give my support to Japan and hope that even after this tragedy there will be a bright future.

Regards from South Carolina, Micah.

Gwanbare Nippon !!

Thank you for worrying about Japan:D .
Because I have lived in West Japan, I did not encounter this tragedy.
However, I encountered the Great Hanshin Earthquake 17 years ago:'( .

I am elder, but energetic for making assets for TRS2004.
My large project is progressing for TRS2004.
Please look forward if you hope:wave: .

Dear Hanshin,

It´s good to hear from you again, in fact I was worried about all japanese members and people in general because japan is one of my favourite countries afterall, not just because I´m a manga freak (xD) but because I love japanese culture and admire japanese society.

Can´t say a lot of things, cause I think that in these few lines I said it all, so what I wish for Japan it´s a fast recovery and the shut down for ever of the nuclear power plants, it produces a lot of energy, but it causes a lot of problems also.

Regards from a Spaniard that loves Japan!

Ánimo Japón! ;)
