Hello, mbv67 here.


So I want you to express your opinion of The General Electric U33B. These are my favorite locos as they were the father & more powerful version of the B23 & b30-7s.
 
Well, with about 140 only built, they weren't exactly in demand, but they did start that whole flared radiator thing, which continues to this day.
 
The old Maine Central had some U33Bs. They lasted until Guilford took over. They got them from the Rock Island and never bothered to reletter them for the MEC. They wore their ROCK logo on the side.
