PRR Screenshots

Flying Around the Horseshoe Curve
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPqUWM5CZ34&feature=related

I sure am glad that I have unlimited branchlines to work on, when burning out on the NS mainline.

I have done the RJ Corman-Irvona branch past Glenhope, and am working on the double track Muleshoe Secondary (which was the original PRR mainline prior to 1854, via Petersburg, Hollidaysburg, and Tunnelhill).

I really haven't heard much whether it be constructive criticizim, or complaints about the Fisdhlipsatwok DEM that I released on Mediafire, a month or so ago. I deliberately didn't texture the route, as I don't do that until a route is completely finished.

I was wondering if anyone textured it, or played around with my version of the route.

I have abandoned the smaller Fishlipsatwok DEM, in leu of the much larger 10,000 baseboard DEM that I have switched over to working hard on.

I have made much progress, and seem to have come as close to perfecting tracklaying and curvitures.

I will have to post some screenshots ... but without yextures they seem to be lackluster.

I tried your route, and I like it, it is really nice, in my honest opinion, I just wish it was a little longer

Someone on another forum said it worked well in TS10 ... and as that release was a test for a TRS2006 route, you will absolutely love all the additional improvemements that I am adding on the bigger route.

Sadly it still only goes to west of Johnstown in the Packsaddle Narrows, but this newest route starts in Huntingdon, and goes to Philipsburg Pa, NantyGlo and south to New Freedom. It has at least 5 branch lines all over a 6 County area, and will include Grassflat Drainlick Gumstump Snowshoe Milesburg Bellefonte areas.

I am adding the Nitany & Bald Eagle RR line out of Tyrone, and I would like it to continue on to Williamsport, and at least Pitcairn Yard (one of the larger classification yards on the 1920's PRR route).

Detailing the 3 Glenwhite Coal & Lumber Co spurs at the "Curve" is a must ... as is the Wopsononock 36" NG RR (later SG after 1901).

As it is so large, I am leaning towards needing a team of people working on it as a freeware project, and giving it away to Jointed Rail team and Scratchy ... but it must be freeware !

Also ... As Sethmcs has TRS2004 ... If I change the Trainzbuild numeral ... will he too be able to run my TRS2006 route ? Can a TRS2004 user backdate the trainzbuid of my route themselves, and get it running in 04 ?

With you blokes and all your comments about MSTS I dusted of the old Disc and installed it,ran it for about 2hrs and decided I did do the right thing many years when Trainz came along and have now put the Origonal Disc and Activity Pack on EBAY,never to be thought of again.

I'm curious Cascade, how long do you spend on Trainz a day? Do you really think you'll get the 10k baseboard route finished? How long is your time frame? I'm not saying you won't, just that i sure as hell would never attempt something that massive, just don't think i have the commitment or patience :) Johnstown to Altoona is plenty far enough for me :hehe: and I'm still not really anywhere near completion... but anyways good luck with your venture and yes, screenshots would be great, this thread seems to be lacking of them recently...

I can go back and edit all my posts, and add screenshots to the old posts, at a later date.

I am concentrating on trackwork and gradients, using no textures at present ... so screenshots would be a bit lackluster in the present condition, with gray baseboards and transdem textures.

Today at 2:00PM EST there will be a National Emergency Test, and don't be suprised if every cell phone will go off with a text message.

As it turns out the asteroid YU55 was calculated to be the size of an aircraft carrier ... but closer examination proved it was only the size of 2 PT Boats and a Friggat.:hehe:

This post will be edited later on, and recycled, and a PRR Screenshot will be placed HERE, ASAP.
Wher's the Kabooom ? There was supposed to be an Earth shattering Kaboom ... Oh no, the Earth creature has stolen the Eludium Q36 Explosive Space Modulator !:hehe:

Careful, Cascade. Those Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies videos on YouTube that you linked to are most likely copyright infringments, which YouTube has a whole lot of. Just saying. :)

YouTube seriously needs to start having staff review videos before they become publicly viewable, deleting inappropriate videos like copyright infringements, rather than the current method of videos becoming publicly viewable immediately after they are uploaded.

Regards,

Retro.
