PRR Screenshots

WAB1189, while those look great and you got a decent brunswick green (basically looks almost black to me), the font of the letterring just does not look like it is the right font that was used by PRR.

PRR is one of my favorite liveries I model in O-Gauge and feel is very lacking in Trainz. I appreciate your efforts.

If you are lacking projects, PRR had allot of SD7's too and these were a light to semi medium brown ( LOL ).

Mcguirel thanks I don't have any books on the Pennsy and had to go looking online to find photos of the SD9's. There isn't many out there and the ones that are out there or atleast that I could find are in black and white. I did find some photos of PC SD9's in color and they looked like all they had done was just marked out the Pennsy on them, so that's what I went with.

I agree there should be more Pennsy in trains and the Wabash, but thats for another thread. :)

I didn't know the Pennsy had any SD7's. I must have just looked right over them while going over the Pennsy roster looking up info on the 9's. I'm going to have to look in to this some more because I'm having a blast reskinning.

Nice SD9's ! What does the enginesound and hornsound sound like ?

I made a Fraps video of some action on the Horseshoe Line, with some nice enginesounds, but it wouldn't upload to Youtube ... perhaps it was to lengthly ?

I can almost hear the enginesounds ... please post a Fraps video.

PRR had thousands of GP9's ... and I am sure they had beastly, bassy, awesome sounding enginesounds.

well to post a fraps video on youtube, you have to run it through windows movie maker, publish it (setting, High Quality Video, large), then upload. hope this helps.

I have been trying to post a 9 minute video, on YouTube, of the "Horseshoe".

It keeps taking 4 hours to publish & upload 75% ... and I end up pressing cancel.

Who out there likes the "Horseshoe" ... and please explain why you like it ... or exactly why you dislike it.

My Ex-Wife: "You drove me 250 miles ... just to see a stupid bend in a RR track" !:hehe:

Why do so many people like the "Horseshoe" ?

Video is comming tomorrow ... :'( it will be here ---> ( _ _ _ )<---

Well i'm lucky. My dad was a huge RR fan since he was a little boy. And my mom had a share of RR blood to. Her Grandfather worked on the New York Central RR. When we went to horseshoe curve we all loved it!!!

As a plug: Good railfannng RR motels are the: Bridge Bed & Breakfast in Marysville (Rockville bridge), the Tunnel Inn in Gallitzin, The Station Inn in Cresson, the Cassandra RR Overlook Motel, Fairhope RR motel ... they all charge @ $125 single occupancy

Every year at the Cassandra RR Overlook they have an overnighter, where @ 50 people camp out, with a foodlight, and watch trains in the dark, gettin' all bug bit up by skeeters !
The Town Sheriff is also the Motel owner

You ought to consider exporting your SketchUp drawings to a format where you can open them in an other modelling program and get them in to Trainz, Bob. :D Your drawings do show some good talent. ;)

Regards.

Retro00064: Thanks for your comment,That is exactly the feed back I want to hear..The real problem is me, because I don't know that I can do that because of the strong learning curve..But I do Love to draw them..

Blender is best to make from diagrams. unlike sketchup, it's a little harder to use but it's very easy to get used to the design.

but i like the J, only problem is i already have a PRR steam project going, no competition though. keep up the good work though bob, you're showing promising results:)
