Seach for mine, it's a track object and the round bit on the top should juuuuuuust touch the wire.

Mine works for a GG1 if I'm not mistaken. The bump should just touch the wire and the wire shouldnt move off of the sides on curves. The bump on top is at the same height as the panto and has the same width as the shoe.

Word to the wise, don't obsess too much on the side play.

A catenary purposely zig zags back and forth down the track, so that the wire doesn't quickly wear a groove in the pantograph pickup shoe.

Once you arrive at the perfect height, it is simple mathematics, to add, or subtract, that specific numeral amount, from the track spline point measured height.

Never superimpose a catenary spline point circle directly in register with the track spline point, just in case you ever need to move one, or the other.

Just dropped in to snoop around, and I found your city picture,

    Absolutely Epic........Masterfully created.

This qualifies as one of those photos, where you just need to look away, and then look back again to see what area of detail I missed.

There is so much to explore, and try to figure out, how'd he do that?

Thank you for sharing with us.......

Seems the only places worth going to (traveling to) are the Mt Washington COG Rwy, Cumbres & Toltec Rwy, Grand Canyon Rwy, and D&RGW Rwy

Nice work Matt, and that Train shed looks really huge and dark

RE Post #1961. Nice shot Norm! What was the hoist at the end of the track used for ? I mean if this is moving that could be used for many things but if fixed, I have no idea.

Just a fantasy, I rather thought they might be used as part of cleaning out the smokebox and/or boiler.
