MSTS X future in doubt.

Sadly i'd have to agree with Nikos.. Its not like they havent dropped MSTS2 before.. I truly hope they bring it out, the screenies and development ive been reading of this project.. it would be such a waste to just drop it.

It is strange because, some time ago, on their website, it was said that the largest part of the crew was no longer working on MSTS2 (some were working on a new gameengine for the future FS and TS ).
This means that the core was finished but the layouts not yet, but those are for a large part 3th party.
It was, however, a disappointment to hear that the game would not have animated iteractive industry (outside passengers) .
 
Microsoft has also closed down Ensemble Studios late last year. They were responsible for the Age of Empire line and all of its spinoffs. My guess is the leadership since Gates retired doesn't have much faith in the PC game market.
