Slight problem with new forum...

Hi folks

I noticed a post of mine from yesterday had lost an 'embedded' (I think that's the expression) link - posting in this format

[ url=http://www.checkrail.com]should be a link[/url] does not work.

Yes I know there is a space in there, it is for example only... should be a link

Also typing http://www.checkrail.com doesn't show as a link...

Any chance whatever was tweaked can be tweaked back?

EDIT: Just noticed it IS in fact a link, just lacks the underscore so folks know it's a link!

Also, link text isn't underlined automatically as it should be.

Well you could always change the color of the text between the URL parts like this
[ url=http://www.checkrail.com]should be a link[/url]
and get this
should be a link
just don't change the bracketed parts, tried it and the color didn't change.

Users could also underline link text manually but they shouldn't need to and if they don't then links aren't obvious. The forum admin settings will almost certainly have an option that needs to be set.
