Is the last car on this set a cab car?

Is the OBB CAT train available for download somewhere?

My layout is soon finished. All tracks, signalling and knitting (overhead wiring) are done. Only thing remaining is the fun part - Scenery! Could take a while tho -It's about 100 km long. Anyway, some screenshots:

Oh yeah! She's a beauty

A few words about the catenary. I've used the German cateneary by Trainbernd und OpAmp, mixed with several products from Bald and others (Thanks guys). Actually the main purpose of this layout IS real world catenary. By that I mean, wherever you go, your pantograph is in touch with the wire. At every swich, point and turn. And it is set up as close to real world specifications as possible. Achieving this takes a LOT of work but after a while, when you get the knack of it, it's easy. Every wire is separated and strung up by tension weights at both ends. The only compromise is, there simply isn't enough types of pylons available for all the combinations I need. But it works quite well as is. And of course it zigzag's.

I've downloaded several electric layouts and so far I haven't found ONE worth anything in this regard. At every turn and point there is no contact between the wire and the panto, which simply cannot occur in the real world -The panto on reentry will tear down the wires and cause major disruption. Even payware layouts misses this. I'd ask for a refund if I bought an electrified layout with this inaccuracy. But I guess, that's just me?

---------------------------

I think it's impossible to make a decent layout without using this fabolous bridge from FMA at least once. I had to 'import' some stuff from Poland (Bald) in order to to electrify it, but turned out allright I think.

TEE Blauer Enzian and a double headed steamer passing on it

Every signal is scripted, which takes some work. There probably are more than 1000 of them along the route - Long route, triple track and lots of branches.

This signal indicates, turnout - second switch ahead, speedlimit 70 kmh.

More later, probably

Happy trainzing
