Been absent (off and on) from the game for a couple of years but back in it for the moment.
Trying asset-building for the first time as well which is a whole new experience!
Below is an initial attempt at a 'mid-century modern' station (based on no station building in particular)
Early afternoon service - note the lack of passengers!
Finally got back to this after a few distractions and created a third, small station based on the mid-1960s building formerly located at Ōwhango in the central North Island. There are a few other similar structures (such as Henley, Waikanae and Kai Iwi) that were very similar but this was the only one I'd noticed built with a brick veneer, which matched the rest of the set.
Still a few details to include such as spouting, and nightlight effects.
Also considering if a sink the windows into the building slightly to match the actual building. I haven't for the rest but as this one is a smaller building it might be worth while.
If anyone else is thinking of making assets, buildings are a great low-risk way to slowly get to terms with how everything works
