Anyone still around? Look for some Cantenary that would suit the wellington system. Anyone got recommendations?

I haven't posted on here recently so here's my recent project. I started a Taihape to Mataroa Route which is part of the NIMT. Its been a project I have been doing since November last year and has been on going. Recently have been doing the Mataroa area on the route. Plan is to finish the scenery between the two locations before moving on. Also during this time, I have been testing out the DXB's and UK wagons for any faults, touch ups or modifications needed. So far, there has been very tiny touch ups but they work pretty great. Screenshot of a Northbound train crossing over the Mataora Bridge on TRS19. Hope everyone has been doing well in recent times. Cheers

    Hi,

I haven't been on this thread on about a year, but I am interested as to where you got those DX class locomotives from? I heard the ATD were making one but I never heard it getting released.

    Thanks,
    TheKiwian

Hey, so I was thinking of starting a line somewhere along the NIMT.

I don't have much experience in making routes, so what areas do any of you people think would be a good starting point for someone like me, who might spend 2-3 hours a day making the route?

I am thinking of an area lush and bright green, a few rolling hills, (only) small towns, some bridges, etc.

I don't have much NZ rolling stock that works with T:ANE so if someone could suggest some that would be great too. (Still looking for that DX!!)

    Cheers,
    TheKiwian.

You can get most of the NZR locomotives and rolling stock here, OR search up 'NZ', or 'NZR' on the Download Station.

Yes Zsuda great memories. I did one of the freight runs on Murchison recently. Michael (Sir Gibbie) tells me hes been working on the upgrade into the latest Trainz for the past 3 years and should get some screen shots up this year which, he said, look stunning so great news for NZ railways.

Mercer - Huntley these google maps baseboards make creating routes so much easier. I'm not sure which asset i should use for the forests though
