@Casper :
Oh, that's lovely. Well done, although, to be honest, that route is awesome and your screen is really good ! ;)

Ecclesiastical post

Lovely shot, James. Please will you give me the kuid for the church. Regards, Dave ~snip~
Thanks Dave.

The Church is by jayholland: West Country Village Church 2

You can get it on the DLS (supported Trainz versions only) <KUID:381430:2892>

For the benefit of the unsupported, a lot of J’s stuff is kindly (and gratefully!) uploaded to TPR by robin_hoods. The TPR kuid is 67585:2892.
Here's the link: http://trainzproroutes.org/tprdownloads/index.php?act=view&id=3790.

There is also West Country Village Church 1 and Salisbury Cathedral which can be seen in the background in this shot. You should easily find these on DLS & TPR.

Great models!

Cheers
Casper

Thanks a lot, Casper. Sorry for misnaming you, I tried to carry a few bits of info, in my head, from one thread to another and failed miserably. :(

Fantastic shots Casper! You know, every time I see one of your screenshots I want to use it as my desktop,
but the trouble is you do so many excellent ones I'd have to change it every day! ;)

Please keep them coming !

~snip~ Sorry for misnaming you, ~snip~
No worries. I’ve been called far worse, believe me!:D

@Frédo

Thank you for your kind words Frédo.

Here’s another of jayholland’s Churches (in the distance) which I’ve used for Corfe Castle’s village Church. The masonry nicely matches the local Purbeck stone. I’ve also done a bit more texturing on this bit, east of Corfe Castle station on the Swanage Railway heritage line.

Cheers

An hommage to my favorite route.

to the hills,

there is something peculiarly Matise or, perhaps, Manet like that speaks to me.

I've enjoyed looking through many, many beautiful pages of this thread.

Here are some shots from my Sanford Lake route- because it's summer there......

The farm BEFORE the RR bridge was built over the farm & lake.....

The RR bridge now built over the farm & over the island in the middle of the lake, to the falls ......

The road goes all the way around the lake, no lights, no stop signs, it's the scenic route.....

More lake views..... from boat, car, foot, or from the train window....

Sanford Lake RR Station

and lastly Sanford Lake Falls.....

Hope you enjoyed them, Rebecca Member of Yesterdayz Trainz
