New Route - BNSF Clovis Sub West

Looks like a fun route and I have it running but am missing several kuids for the session.

All the CSX's are missing a "shell" but it is listed as unknown rather than missing kuid.
I know one of the kuids is a horn but don't know where to find it.

I have been through the downloads three times now and believe I have hit them all so I am not getting something that I need but where is the question.

I noticed in the tutorial that mention is made of trailer trains but no trailers are showing. What trailers should be showing up?
thanks

Hey Mr D

Everything you are missing is linked to near the bottom of this page.

Specifically you are missing:

- all of Sp-or-bust's C44 -8 and -9 variants from TrainStation (the 2113556 kuids);

- all of cnr's BNSF Wellcars from TPR Download Station (the 95761 kuids);

- some of the RRmods 60 foot boxcars (all the other kuids);

As to the trailer trains, no trailers will show in Surveyor - the spine cars will be empty - but they should show up in Driver. You should have them, AFAIK the trailers are packed with the spinecars.

What is the kuid of the missing horn?

Let me know if you continue to have problems...

Andy :)

Thanks, after reloading the well cars several times I have them but with error messages that I can't seem to solve although I have tried all the old tricks. 20ft and 40ft tags not allowed. I think something to do with the brackets but can't seem to get it worked out.

the horn is 261222:1053

I have reloaded everything on the list three or four times but am still missing the following according to the cpm

138423:11002228
55290:1000
2:113556:11104:1
:2915:1
:331129:1
:62215:1

Sorry to be a bother but now I really want to try the route. It loads but when I try to run it it locks up and turns black so I have to have these I guess.
Thanks for your help

Concerning the 20' and 40' tags, sounds like they were meant to be part of the description and got some quotation marks inadvertently inserted which made them a new tag. Too fix just hit the X at the end of them in cmp which will remove them which will not hurt a thing. They can be fixed another way too but you would have to open the asset for edit and fix it in the config file, not recommended unless you know what you're doing in there.

The missing assets I cannot help with perhaps some one will be along that recognizes them.

Well, I've got a few more. I dl the c40's as well as the 44's . I must be missing something else as I am still missing these two.

2:113556:11104:1
2:113556:331129:1

If you could put a name to those it would help.

Also the horn is still missing and all the gp40-2's have a missing kuid which is a shell I think. They still load however.

This is what I am talking about. The error message says that none of them are allowed so I think a bracket may be wrong. This is the 40ft bottom one. There are six or seven all told.

Heres the config from well car 95781 15360 to compare it with and or copy into if all criteria match. Hope this helps, as I can't see anything wrong with the snip you showed in previous post.

Found the problem, it was missing two closing brackets. So now I have the two missing kuids which are locos of some kind but don't know what. And the horn which I can change the kuid, and the gp40-2 which have an unknown kuid not missing and each one is different.

I am getting closer.

Need some kuid numbers please.

390 counting the dependencies for the session.

That would be just a few high because I have added some signals and my road crossings.

Oh, is that all, that's very good then for this size of route, other much smaller routes I have downloaded off the DLS recently have had between 800 and 1200 dependencies.
I am not using TRS2006 anymore, so I won't bother with the session, but may change the signals as well and see what the spline situation is like particularly around Benin, according to Andy's notes on his website, he's mentioned that fps may be heavy in that area.

Thank you very much for your help bnsf50, sorry I've forgotten your name..... I am really looking forward to playing on this, and I'm sure some more screenshots of this route will follow accordingly......:hehe:

No doubt Andy will take a deserved rest after completing this first installment.

Thanks Dermmy, you're a star.....

I am now down to one.

SPORBUST 331129:1

You can get it here, this is Sp_or_bust's new web site.

http://www.trainzstation.com/Files.html

Forgot to mention that's his bnsf ES44AC. You'll need the name because he doesn't list the items by kuid number. He may have the horn and stuff you need there too. You'll have some cleanup work to do because he uses 04 to build in and consequently there are quite a few errors in the config files. But they are very very nice engines.

Thanks, I have dl that several times but something must be wrong with it so I will do it again and then look it up.

Hey Mr D - glad you are getting there! And thanks BNSF for the support help - night time here :)

Let me know Mr D if you still need anything.....

Andy :)

Up and running. I fixed the geeps by deleting the shell kuid. The well cars were a bother but got them too, adding a couple of brackets and a "kind".
Finally got all the locos, was missing one not on the recommened list so I guess I should have just d/l all of them to start with. I thought I had done that one just to see what it was but guess not or it didn't take.

I ran last night till my wife threatened me and got the tt to the exit spot. Nice track work and an enjoyable ride. I started with sliders to the left but kept moving them and it ran fine with everything to the right.

I am trying to chart which trains (drivers) are going east and which west to see if I can get a better handle on who needs to go where and I will try it again. Maybe not today as I have to go out of town to see a grandson in a play.

Thanks for all the help I received. I have found this community to be the most helpful of any I have ever been on and I was here before the first program was released and have seen all the frustration and battles.

No problem at all I was glad to help, was in and out of the house yesterday, the reason for the long pause between some of the posts.

The only one I was having a problem with was Cafe in the CSX C40-8 yn2 dirty West bound out of Albuquerque, he didn't like the route he was assigned so I gave him a 20 min wait and sent him via the Belen depot, he likes that route and the 20 min wait lets the east bound traffic get up far enough to take hold of the switch's they need, so they don't get into a Mexican standoff.
