Default Shots from BNSF Slaton Sub: Clovis to Lubbock

Here are a few more shots from my work in progress, the BNSF between Clovis, NM and Lubbock, TX, representing roughly the northern half of BNSF's Slaton Subdivision. I'm putting the finishing touches on the route and an introductory operating session; it should be on the DLS soon.

A local passes by the Lubbock Feeders feedlot on the southeast edge of Lubbock:

An intermodal bound for the west coast (SALTLBE1) passes by the Farmers Cooperative Compress in southeast Lubbock, with the Attebury Elevator in the background:

The same intermodal north of Downtown Lubbock:

A manifest freight from Belen, NM to Lubbock, TX (HBELLUB) crosses from New Mexico into Texas at Texico/Farwell:

    Intermodal, west of Lubbock:

Passing a cell tower and signals in the wide-open country west of Lubbock:

Belen-to-Lubbock manifest passing the AGP Elevator in Lariat, TX:

On the western edge of Muleshoe, TX:

    Entering Muleshoe:

Intermodal west of Lubbock, from US Highway 84:

Great shots Maxwerks. This is looking really nice and I'm looking forward to running on this one. You've captured the look and feel of the area perfectly.

Default Some more from the WIP

SALTLBE1 passes by the hard-working AGP switcher at Lariat, TX:

    SALTLBE1 west of Lariat:

HBELLUB working its way toward its destination:

SALTLBE1 passing through Farwell, TX, about to pass into New Mexico:

Crossing the TX-NM border, with Farwell, TX in the background:

    Leaving Texico, NM:

Passing an old AT&SF RR water tank east of Clovis, NM:

SALTLBE1 nearing Clovis. Seems like every town of any size in this part of the world has a John Deere dealership:

Thanks, Graeme. I uploaded the route to the DLS last night, and just got notification that it's been approved. It should be available for download in the next 24 hours. -Max
