The river spline is called "river spline glacial" and can be found on the DLS iirc.
It's the Landrvr1 CZ set, but the textures have been bumped up to 2048 x 2048, groundplane shadows have been added, and external meshes have been added to bring the set up to modern standards. In addition, all 77 CZ cars have been skinned up, plus CB&Q cars of similar plans where applicable. The F unit set can be found at Trainzforge, and the route is something that I'm working on right now. Currently it can't be found anywhere since we can't publicly release skins of Landrvr1's content.

Hmmm...it's not on the DLS but Google found it at USLW. It's by the notoriously creative George Fisher (gfisher), no wonder it looks good. I guess what is meant to be ice/snow looks like white foam in a desert setting.
