Cajon Pass Extreme at 120mph

80349

Just a little over 12 minutes. (I tweaked WhitePass' M10000 to sort of mimic M10001 The Canary Bolt)

Sherman Hill at 120mph

80349

Thirty-seven minutes

In October 1934 the M-10001, known as the "Canary Bolt", set the currently unbroken record of 57 hours from coast to coast, leaving Los Angeles at 10 PM on the 22nd and arriving Grand Central Terminal at 9:55 AM on the 25th, hitting speeds of 120mph.

I do not know what route she took but it is unlikely she took any of these passes at 120mph. LOL

Once upon a time the US had the infrastructure and engineering skill to do high speed trainz.

A pair of LE&E units drifts downgrade from the NYC interchange towards Montgomery Cove yard. Meanwhile, two S2s head up a NYC transfer run on the high line.

Just to let you know, Peter's Trainz has a reskin of Ben J into 611.
If I remember right, that is where I got this one too, but I was looking at one of the original big three photos at they used J #604, Y #2147, and A #1212 in the one I used as a reference.
