One can only dream..

Well, my first shot in a minute. I've been mostly creating personal activities for myself, that follow a sort of prototypical operation. For example, I made a sesssion YDRR-20 for the Conrail Lincoln Secondary, but that's another subject, for another screencapture.

Anyway, this is the Detroit Connecting Railroad route made by our own chrisracer8903. The real life DCON is now owned by the Adrian and Blissfield Rail Road Company (ADBF). Here, we capture Helm Leasing Services (HLCX) GP38-2 #3840, backing into a scrap yard with some empty corn oil tanks, and prepared to collect some loaded scrap gons for delivery to the Canadian National. This is from my session "Morning Local" which is my attempt to capture a typical morning job on the Detroit Connecting Railroad, DCON for short. And yes, HLCX does own an GP38-2 under that number. The actual 3840 is ex-Conrail GP38-2 #8381, built in June, 1979 for the Consolidated Rail Corporation, Conrail for short.

Q-304-22, internally and externally.

Normally, I take screencaptures on the exterior side. But, I wanted to try an interior shot, just to mix things up.This view, taken from inside a BNSF Railway SD70ACe shows us a winter scene as it leads CSX train Q-304-22 along the Conrail Shared Assets Operations Lincoln Secondary. This is from my personal activity Q-304 which involves driving a northbound CSX manifest in the midst of a winter storm.

Just had a feeling that no one would believe me, so I restarted the activity, just to get a screencapture of Q304-22's road power. The same train, with the road power showing this time, at the Guardian Glass Company.

A monster 125 car, 8000ft, 18000 ton. loaded unit potash train with 7 locomotive (3 on the point, 3 DPU mid-train and 1 DPU on head end) and all "Potash Corp" wagon:

One of many NYC all-Pullman trains in the Chicago - Detroit corridor hustles towards Michigan Central Station in the late 1930's. December traffic means that this Hudson has to work twice as hard to keep the tight schedule.
