Hi Felix,

How did you get your HDR settings and water to look so good? Did you adjust the shaders in TANE?
Only post-processing I have used is:
-Convolution:
--Sharpen
--Add
--Threshold 0.000000
--Intensity 0.100000
Nothing done with the shaders.

Comparing the shot in post #34851 with that same one in post #34871 the latter one definitely looks better to me, but something in between those two settings probably would have worked as well. So there's still a wide range of water color settings that should look okay and in the end it has to go with the surrounding scenery... I think what looks good on one route doesn't necessarily have to look good on another one.
Almost equally important as the water color are the groundtextures used in the shallow areas (ground <1m below water level). These are clearly visible through the mirroring water surface and hence they have quite some influence on the overall look. Here I can still see some room for improvement in my own work.
And finally I think that water would not look half as good without some convincing scenery surrounding it.

So there's not just one thing to be adjusted to make it look good, it's a lot of work fiddling around with many different things.

Nice pics all :).
