October 2nd, 1980. Two LIRR MP15ACs sit on a siding after a nights' work of clearing up demolition wreckage from buildings being torn down in the former town of Archwood (Fictional). The entire line and the abandoned defunct towns that served the Archwood Branch would be completely demolished in 1981 to make way for more industries and a new highway.

An LIRR train with 2 MP15ACs is going down the abandoned Archwood Branch. The points were set wrong and were jammed, and the operators told the conductor and engineer not to take their train down there. Regardless, they were under the influence, and almost caused a car-collision. They were fired a day later c. 1980
