Utah Belt in the Midwest? According to this fictional world, YES! They had trackage rights on the Cotton Belt in the 80's and 90's due to the falling and merging of railroads in the Midwest. They also desperately needed a connection to a Midwestern road as this would allow for Utah coal to be delivered to power plants. Here, in 1995, a coal train rounds the wye at Littleport, KS while an autorack train zooms by.
