A construction crew scrambles to batten down the proverbial hatches as a severe thunderstorm and its wall cloud pass just a mile or two to the north. The Southern Pacific freight passing by is an afterthought on this wild 1990s afternoon in Colorado.
This is an incredible screenshot The sky reminds me of what it would look like around the Colorado and Kansas border during the spring. I remember it being pretty nerve-wracking to be driving in regions around there with no where to take cover from some of the most turbulent weather I've ever experienced. ( that's one of the last places I'd expect to see a McDonalds )
