An eastbound extra drops down the twists and turns west of Old Fort, North Carolina on a late-August 1987 afternoon. On the point is a GP40X, GP50, and a SD40-2 using full dynamics to keep the tonnage behind in control.

The world would be a better place if people learned the difference between right and wrong, and stood up to those who do wrong.
Great lashup, DARTrider! My favorite fallen flags!
EDIT: @DaveSnow, unfortunately a lot of creators are still using billboard trees on otherwise great routes. I don't like them either, and I do spend some time replacing trees with bulk replacement, but it takes a big commitment to find the same species and sizes and hope they look good. Very worth it in the end though, even though you now have yet another route under your own userID and will have to convert any and all sessions over!

DARTrider,
I second Forester on that lash-up. I love it. Burlington is my favorite of the bunch, but BNs a close second.
Is that a GP-20 in Burlington livery? Can't quite tell if it is 4 truck or 6 truck.

Thanks for the info. It looks really nice. The Burlington livery is one of the sharpest - it really stands out.
