Great Western In Wales
Hello Everyone; My name is Michael
Some screenshot of Brunel's the famous Great Western Railway; the year 1936 in Wales. The goldern years of GWR steam before WW2 & Nationalisation. I only wish I could have a Hall & a 28xx becuase they ran in Wales.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The passing of the lone guard
Under The Dark Skyes: GWR Bird 'Skylark' creaks out of Hatley station on its lonely way though the dales.
Lastly some workings of the local pithead that was usually headed or even banked by elderly GWR Bulldog locomotive. Here 3418 'Sir Arthur Yoke' banks the empty coal train towards the Berkley Pit.
