After watching a video on youtube yesterday using phill's habourmaster my tribute to Darlington habour and the shunters that worked there except 1801 who made the trip from sydney yard. All the ones who needed thier match trucks to move modern wagons ready for duty.

Hi Steve123,

Yes, that's the tunnel I was looking for! I would have replied earlier but am trying to get used to how the forum works.

Thanks,

has this forum gone quiet or something, is everyone just bussy after the holdidays?

don't leave me:eek:

cheers Ryan

Ryan,

Not everyone is retired or unemployed, mate.

Many trainz enthusiasts, although addicted to trains, are still working, have additional interests including family, shopping, sleeping, etc.

Trainz people are generally quite patient individuals, who work meticulously to please themselves and others.

No one is leaving, but, there are plenty of 'threads' to read in the meantime.

Each time I read a new thread, I learn something I didn't know before.

So keep busy mate.
Cheers,
Roy

Most of us work and have social lives. Most of us also go through phases where our interest in Trainz dwindles. And might I add, most of the people over the age of 18 don’t treat this forum like a chat room. Usually posting with something of substance.

Relax dude, we have lives outside of our hobbies. (trainz included)
I fired up trainz when I can and play around but I am one of a couple of Rail employee's on this forum who work shift work and don't always have time to post here. If this thread goes quite, post up some shots of your own or have a browse through the other thread where you can learn stuff. :)

Nice shots everyone.
Jamie, where was that shot with the railmotor? It doesn't look familiar.
Ghosty, your Jacaranda Flats refurb looks really good. Loving the HD textures.
Some from me, can't let the forum go quiet. I'm a full time, stay at home grandpa, with plenty of time on my hands that leaves trainz running all day :p

Wonderful shots Graeme, Norm, David, Ghosty, Jamie - keep it up guys.

Jamie, I have to agree,... the Porchester layout is pretty good. While I've been waiting for the next Trainz update, I had a few runs on it myself.

I'd really like to finish updating my Sydney route and sessions first. I'd better get to it.

Cheers,
Roy

Following Graeme's shots, North Geelong 100 years earlier with an E Class on a test train from Ballaarat to Geelong.

A messy overview of North Geelong in 1880's-1890's, been working on this route 6 or 7 years, feels like I got nothing done in that time, lol

Posted this one a few times,

Camperdown yard and template platform, yard is based on a 1920's sketch and may have been built like this in 1890 when the line opened.

Master Troll, lol, I like trolling anime pages, like when a Admin creates a page based on a anime about to come out in Japan, so the page title is the anime name, they'll post Promotion Video 1, couple of weeks later Promotion Video 2, couple of weeks later another Promotion Video then a date for ep 1, after ep 1 airs the admin posts clips / images of the episode, then people comment, *Sauce?*, *What's the sauce?*, *Where is the sauce?*, however because they wrote *sauce* instead of *source* I tease them by saying *Nah, I don't want any sauce* or *Have you tried the local shops for sauce?* or *Mmmm, sauce*, earlier this year I saw someone reply *Why did you like this page when you don't even know the anime?, lol

Over Summer I'll commit time into the route, I'm going to buy a GPS that reads elevation so I can correct the DEM in some places for better accuracy on elevation, it's all over the place in some spots when I convert LWM from feet to metres and set the heights on the map, Moolap and Leopold is about 98% spot on with the height while some places are 5 - 10 metres too low or too high.

North Shore is a good example and needs allot of work.
