A couple of shots from Surveyor. WIP progress on my refurbishment of P.Gibbons 2005 'Boorowa Branch' route.
Thanks to Peter for his offer to add his Galong-Boorowa section of the NSWGR network to the WeddinNSW V5 merged route (now a combination of 'WeddinNSW', 'Southlines', 'Lines to the Lachlan', and Peter's 'Boorowa Branch'.
As can be seen, I am currently working my way along Market St (on the left in first shot). The road from Yass/Harden actually enters Boorowa via Marsden street, which is just 'off map'. I think Peter's solution to enter via Market St, to facilitate a little 'compression' is a good one, and I have retained it. I lived in Boorowa in 1969/1970 while my father was working at the local Central School, and I am very much enjoying recreating the Boorowa of that time.
So far I have concentrated on building a 'stub' to join 'Boorowa Br' to 'Southlines', replacing the old 'ghost' trees, and updating road and track. I have most recently started detailing at the Boorowa end, and am working my way towards 'Southlines'. There is still quite a lot of work to do!

Found something quite interesting today. This very nice Sydney Metro TS Set 3D model is available for sale on turbosquid, maybe someone could buy and convert it for trainz? :hehe:

Genuinely I could see it happening, someone could theoretically negotiate a deal with the original 3D artist for a Trainz release. (Or maybe even DTG Train Simulator, you never know)

Looks fantastic! The headlights on the Vlocity look a bit dark though. The cabin also looks a bit too "streamlined" but that's probably just me.
