Australian screenshots

Nice piece of rolling stock you got there Mick. Would there be a variant in which the wagon would come with fixed coil cradles for the placement of the coil loads? Also will you be doing an RCQF wagon with 3 fixed coil cradles and a container flat that carries steel container load products that goes with the whole steel coil and container wagon stock sets?

Here ya go, I had another try at getting them all on the same map. Wont get as much texture quality as I wanted but it's a start and the scrap steel containers are sitting behind the wagons too. Now to try the dark art of getting it all to work as it is meant to in game:hehe:.

Hey to all Aussie Trainzers creating routes.

Now I know what I am about to share with you is 'Not Australian',... however all route builders, no matter where they originate, should see this video in full. It runs for 20 minutes and please turn the speakers on. The detailing and clarity of this video is superb.

When I viewed it, I now want to go back to the drawing board and re-think a number of matters with my own route.

None of us are perfect, but it's nice to see something very close to perfect. This is how we should all appreciate our great hobby in Trainz.

Nice video for sure but no reason at all the same thing couldn't be done for Aus it would only be a matter of getting a decent team together, For starter's we have just as many beautiful scenic lines out here that would look great done up to the same level of detail.
Cheers Mick.

looking good mick, are you planning on releasing the steel wagons?

I thought id share a pic of Tallong Railway Station and show some progess of the route.

Cheers, Ryan

sounds great mate, they Will be good fun to use on Melbourne Wollongong Steel trains through the main south route when they’re done. Good luck with them mate :)

I agree with you on that Ryan. They surely do add an excellent taste on AUS routes.

Shall I also input this if you don’t mind mick, do you intend to give your steel wagons some different verity of skins varying from new, clean to weathering to being currently used and rusty appearances of the cradles as well as the previously mentioned jumbo coil cradles that was posted on Atd Fb. Heck, I recognised another similarity of the jumbo coil cradles in which they’re alignment is in an offset orientation in which the cradle load is relatively similar to the centre versions of the load.

Hey everyone
A few shots from the South Coast today.

T20 is substituting for an unavailable L set when captured at Belambi Station.

G10 is seen arriving at Woonona with a local to Port Kembla.

G10 again seen on a local paused at Belambi.

All that would be nice but most of that is still a dark art for me but we'll see what becomes of it all, The coils are near on done and the jumbo cradles are also in the pipeline but finding the type of wagons they sit on is challenging as PN seem to change their wagons every day lol.

Awesome shots Aaron, looks great on that new card. Now Bellambi just needs a station building of the right colour and we'll be set.
Nice work everyone.
cheers

Mick,

Refer to link: https://wagonfreak.blogspot.com/search?q=jumbo+coil&m=1 or Wongms Rail Gallery as the two articles might help to solve your case on part behalf of your post. It highlights photos/images of the loads you’ve modeled before plus giving out some of the information on each of the wagons and the type as well. in which the loads applies to certain wagon stock and stuff. RCKF wagons are meant for specialising in carrying JUST only coils of any size but still do have removable/fixed cradles on the flat side of the platform. It is also realised that the RCKFS aren’t in the works of Trainz nor the extended version of RCAFS (named NCFF/NQFF) that’s capable of carrying a 40ft load in between the fixed coil cradle loads.

D1 554 charges up the 1in50 out of Moorooduc with an UP GOODS. Having spent some time shunting the loco had cooled down, the driver had to nurse the 4-6-0 up the first climb to avoid priming.

Blue Mountains 1960s Update - The City

G'day,

It's been a little while since my last post and I have made a fair amount of progress on the Blue Mountains route. I have all the track laid between Lithgow and Redfern and have spent this afternoon rebuilding Redfern after a slight operational issue resulted in the loss of the work I did the first time round. The loss of the first Redfern build wasn't the only issue, a lot of progress made around Mount Boyce was also lost after Trainz crashed so I had to backdate the route to a previous save and start from where that left off.

I hope to be able to do some more updates here more frequently. I lost access to this particular forum after posting my first few screenshots but I have since regained access on a different browser.

Below are a couple screenshots of Redfern.

Cheers,
Jonesy
