WoooHooo - Awesome Work Bill, I wonder what inspired the requester to request a SCT truck

Jamie
Having been testing Vinnybarb's SCT loco's and building a yard for them I needed to add some some trucks and I knew Bill (Willem2) made great trailers and trucks and contacted him about making some SCT trucks so thanks to Bill for his excellent truck/trailers.

Cheers Harry

Love your work Bill, you never fail too impress and amaze - just a quick question mate, would it be possible too get your station buildings converted as seperate models, to look all weathered, rundown and beaten up, as I personally love making 'old, disused' branchline modules and such - sadly so many station buildings and all that look so 'brand new', it detracts from the atmospherics I'm trying to achieve in said modules.

NR29 pacnat (al) and Jaxonjared I made a SCT class horn Nathan K-1 chime hornsound with permission from a fellow railfan Michael (Poath junction) to use his SCT video to make the hornsound it's private use only not going to public use

If someone can supply me with some good pictures full side-on there is a good chance they can be made available. :hehe:

Cheers,

Bill.

So you enjoy 'old, disused' branchline material :D

1890s QGR permanent way describing ballast and sleeper arrangements for the South Coast Line, plus Southport to Ernest Junction track construction plans, including curve and grades, plus same for Tweed Heads to Kirra, now available for download. Maybe check file sizes before downloading.

More at the Railpage thread including maps and timetables

Discussion maybe on the Trainz forum for that line at the communally owned http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?65962-QGR-1889-SCL-Original-Gold-Coast-Railway

Cheers

Hi Nick,

Nah only just spent about 20min on them, they're not quite right but they'll do for the time being (I wouldn't mind making one of those bigger Multi-freighters). I'd have to ask the original author (Rob Shaw I think?) if I can release them :)

Cheers,
Tom :)

Thanks for that mate, the first link is deader than my dinner - a real shame, as that'd be inspirational, but I'll check out the others ASAP - thanks so much :)

Hey guys! I'm thinking of making a return to Trainz, and your screenshots are doing nothing but tempting me further! Keep up the good work.

Hi Mullie,

I'll see what I can find to convert some small stations.

Cheers,

Bill.

Also, some NR's filling in for some SCT locos that went missing, hauling some patched SCT ABFX's - on the DLS - or my re-skinsJamie

Not as far-fetched as you might think! Prior to the transfer of the G Class from Pacific National to SCT, PN (and Freight Australia before them, AN before them, etc..) had a hook-and-pull contract with SCT. While most of the trains were hauled by G Class (and the odd DL as well as V544), there were a number of NR Class used on the SCT trains too. When SCT finally got their G Class painted and into service, the NR's went back to PN work. Sadly, I think they were all grubby "vanilla" NR's, not the pretty ones!

Haven't you done enough? Shouldn't you be fishing! :hehe:

Not to mention the fun red SCT container wagons! I should try and find some photos...

EDIT: I trawled through my own photo selection, although, being in Sydney, I have few if any photos of SCT wagons. Marcus Wong, from Victoria has a large selection on his website:
