Hi Russell, I think the VLine N Set came from Victrainz from memory. H222 might be able to shed more light on that though.

Here and Here

Looking fantastic Graeme.

Thanks Jamie,

The passenger cars look great, but I just noticed <kuid:108621:100324> VLP PCJ Van has a faulty asset by andi06. <kuid2:122285:4089:3> JK Icon-RE

The same faulty asset is in <kuid:108621:100032> VLP N Class Mk3 - W

Do you happen to have a 'fix' for these ?

Cheers mate,
Roy

Geelong line is looking terrific Graeme, can't wait to have a run on it!

WOW !! Nice screenshot Tom. I love that engine block.

I'd been looking for iconic buildings in Sydney when I put my route together, and I'd forgotten the IMAX Cinema at Darling Harbour. It's now to be pulled down and a hotel put in it's place.

So while I'm in a modelling-mode, I knocked one up for a future layout.

Also added a few Bond Stores for The Rocks area.

I just can't seem to get my head around Blender or 3DSMax - I keep trying but nothing seems to gel.

However, using Sketchup I can create anything I put my mind to. I'd like to have a few colonial-style buildings to add a little character to my layouts.

Below is a Victorian building (heritage listed of course to keep the facade) which has had some modernization for a business on ground level. This is similar to buildings built around 1900 at Spit Junction.

Looking good there Roy!

X41 with its dunny door left open idles away next to X48, as they both receive attention at the ATD workshops...

Thanks for the compliment mate.

Nice looking shot Tom. Lighting, shadows, workshop atmosphere is spot-on !

Cheers,
Roy

Great shots Tom.
Those bond stores look awesome Roy. They'll really fit in around The Rocks. Keep building those skills.

@ Roy,

I felt the same way. I started out with SketchUp and wanted to move to something better but very time I would open Blender I would eventually just close it as it seemed too daunting. I just kept going back and one day finished a simple model and from then on it has only gotten easier. I am very happy that I persevered; it is such a powerful platform from which to work.

Paul :)
