Fantastic shots everyone!

I'm really glad to see the DDs are being enjoyed! :)

I dug up a small module from years ago to see if I could make a decent looking 'overgrown' branchline look. I think it came out pretty good, maybe a little too overgrown, but I have seen photos of VR steamers in grass like this :O

Nice screens everyone ...
... and Zec, just keep going to create your grassy route like shown in the screens right now. It looks just great! I have not seen the photos from the real thing you mentioned but it is very imaginable that rarely used lines in a vegetation friendly region just looks like this.

Thanks all! I might have a bit more of a play with the overgrown layout later on, I actually wouldn't mind doing a full branchline that I could do like that but none of my current projects would fit it!

OTOH, I'm quite happy with how the look of the revised scenery on Healesville is now looking!

D1 543 steams through the countryside with it's down goods train.

The D1 makes light work of the climb up to Tunnel Hill with it's train in tow.

Not far from Healesville, we see the D1 crossing the Watts River bridge.

A few minutes later we see the D1 from the home signal at Healesville.

After safeworking is completed, we see a rather clean D1 539 departing with an up passenger service whilst D1 543 sits in 2 road with it's train.

Yea - but maybe the overgrown line could become to a branchline for its own. It does not need to end at a fully developed main line - just at a station containing a part of a mainline at both sides. That is possible like it was possible with my "Season Town Northern Railway" - which you know I guess :)

Actually some times a little experiment grows up to its own project. The "Season Town Northern Railway" has been born to be a little test layout. I wanted to see how my seasonal assets looks like being arranged close to each other. This soon gave me a little pice of a town which eventually grew up large enough and one day I recogniced it as a project for its own worthy to develop it to what it is now.

I like your work.
Have a nice weekend.

Nice shots Zec. I was in the Yarra Valley a couple of weeks ago, you've captured the feel of the area well.
@Barisbeer, it's an unreleased update of Healesville which comes with TANE.
