Thanks, its not at this stage, David and the team at ATD have a copy to test as they'll be supporting the project if I stick at it :) Still lots to do, the forested areas are the easy bits, Gosford, Woy Woy and Hornsby will be the most time consuming! Is a fun route with a bit of everything

Thanks Tom for nice comments.

Great shots Kylesy and David.

Fantastic shots Scratchy. Your layout will certainly be worth waiting for, so stick at it mate.

Each time I take a few screenshots of what I am working on, it highlights the errors and then it's back to the drawing board again, to make it look a little better. A few more screenshots, and then I ask myself, why the hell did I put the wrong roof on that building. Then I question myself again, at my age, have I taken on more than I can chew. While I'm doing all this, I am not playing trains, which was the original reason why I started with Trainz.

Unfortunately after searching the DLS, there is no asset called "Magic Wand", a sparkly stick that could be waved over a route and it suddenly switches to 70 years earlier. If anyone happens to have this feature, please let me know. In the meantime, I'll keep plodding along.

Here are a couple of shots around the Haymarket / Darling Harbour area with still heaps to do.

A little extra work around Circular Quay.

Demolishing and reconstruction happening adjacent to the new Circular Quay Station and Cahill Expressway.

De Luxe and RSL Cabbies looking for a quick fare.

When you missed your tram, there were always double-decker buses.

Thanks Joe and Mike for the kind support.

I've just uploaded a few large billboard signs of the 1950s to the DLS. These can still be seen around Sydney and might be used on say, two-storey blank walls of shops, just to add a little more atmosphere.

They have very low 'polys' which won't interfere with the motive power of any train, tram, bus or ferry. lol.
Here are the kuids,...

Not too far off completion, I have done all the livery/weathered variants I intend on doing, just need to do a new ETM and they should be ready for release!

Keep up the great work everyone!

Cheers,

Matt

Fantastic work Matt with the QR range. There are a few guys up here in Queensland, who will be looking out for these when released.

By the way, from the aerial shots I couldn't tell, but are they all in 3'6" gauge?

Keep up the great work mate.

Cheers,
Roy

Thanks Roy, these are actually the SG wagons that QR/Aurizon use in the NSW Hunter Valley coal operations.

Hey Roy,

I have your City Circle V3. Is this still the latest version?

Thanks,
Mike.

Hi ya Mike,

No,... About 18 months ago I distributed Version 4, which included the Sydney ferries and DVA5 platform announcements on certain sessions.

I'm happy to send it to you mate. PM me with your current email and I'll get it under way.

I'm currently working on Version 5 (1950s) but that is still a fair way off yet.

Cheers,
Roy

Hi Roy,

Thanks for your reply. 18 months, really? Wow time really flies. V4 sounds really cool.
Okay mate I will send you a PM, thanks.

Mike.
