December 2006 <sigh> Where has the time gone ! Been in mIRC the last couple of nights catching up on the community, I didnt realise I had missed eveyone so much. :wave:

Been quite busy here, especially at work and a few new hobbies to boot also. Restoring a Scorpion, some sailing whenever I get the chance, Diving too Off to the Maldives in December for another course. And my main interest is now teaching children in the Sea Cadets. So very rewarding. Being able to pass on knowledge to youngsters can often be a challenge but worth every second, when they remember how to tie a knot or remember an unusal part of a boat.

Anyhow just wanted to say Hi again

I have been a scout leader so I know what you mean by the rewards when they finally get those knots right, especially when you have to climb the frame they just built

Know what it can be like. I worked with teenage boys for years as an officer in The Boys' Brigade (dizzy rank of Captain!). Now I'm controlling trams and trains instead of feisty youngsters!
