There was a time when many towns had a loco and tender on display either in a park or at the fairgrounds. Here is one in front of this small town's Historic Society Museum. Rotate the view and you see a couple of more beauties.

Yes, there's some beautiful stuff there including that general store with its rusty tin roof. The stuffed NG Shay is beautiful as well and so is the caboose.
 
I have to drive by this car wash quite often. You can see that someone tried to make it look like a steam locomotive but failed.

That is very sad to see. So many beautiful homes. A lot of them look like fire, is there a lot of arson there, or just accidents?

Well partly due to closure of the car factories 2/3 of the Detroit population have left. In Detroit they have this crazy idea where if you abandon your home with outstanding tax or utility bills, anyone buying the house has to pay those bills off. Meanwhile scrap metal thieves grab the plumbing and electrical wire so the house is uninhabitable the next day.
