Objective Add Rule Questions

I am using the objective add rule to make a switch list on screen to assist the player in making sure the right pick ups and set outs are done. I have the list showing up like I want. Now, my question is, Can a add a background behind the list to make it more visible. I have looked around and I am led to believe the answer is no. But maybe there is and I can't find it

I'll take a shot at this, never tried this rule, but

In the config.txt under the string-table there is a line that says;

mode-string "Custom text"
mode-html "A pre-defined HTML page (advanced)"

To me it is saying you can make a html page and then create your own customized screen
