    Default STB to announce decision on Canadian Pacific-Kansas City Southern merger on Wednesday

    After nearly two years (to the date - the announcement of merger intent was first made in late March, 2021) of discussions, politics, and debate, the Surface Transportation Board will be announcing its decision on the proposed Kansas City Southern-Canadian Pacific merger tomorrow, Wednesday, March 15th, in a press conference which will be streamed on the STB's official YouTube channel starting at 11 AM EDT - that's 8 AM PDT, 9 AM MDT, 10 AM CDT, 3 PM GMT.

    Merger was approved and will be in affect around mid-April.
