Water surface question

When I place water in my layout there is a line where the water is transparent on the edge. That is fine when I model a beach or pond, but I am modeling a harbor with a dock and do not want to see under the surface next to the dock.
Is there a fix for this or am I doing something wrong?

Raise the ground to the height of the water on the extreme edge. Transparency is the gap between the water and the ground or an asset to the ground. Paint the ground a dark blue may also help.

Yes, friend, you can paint ground in dark blue, brown, green or black (Yep, dark black is not the same as light black, which on the other hand is little different from dark white...:hehe
