Wheelslip in Cab Control Mode

Whenever I switch to cab control from DCC mode the engines just continue to wheelslip. Any way to fix that or download something to adjust that?

Reduce throttle and apply sand... or have I misunderstood the issue?

it starts as soon it goes into notch 1. but it's only on the route that I created so I don't know if there is an asset that I deleted or not. Looking for a quick fix but somehow I have a feeling that it won't be a quick fix.

Check your curves. The radius could be too tight. The locomotive can't pull the freight or passenger cars around the curve.

The locomotive could be way too underpowered for the kind of consist you are pulling.

You can also try "feathering" the throttle -- apply 1 notch, switch off, repeat until the train is rolling 2-3 mph. Use sand. I've a got session where this happens on straight track; apparently the GP45 is a little overpowered at the low end and makes the wheels slip.
